05-What? : An application to convert your Israeli Cell Phone numbers on your Palm Organizer

The 05-What? application is used to automatically convert Israeli cell phone numbers on your Palm Organizer to their new format. There are 3 modes of operation for the 05-What? application:

• Test Mode - allows you to enter an old cell phone number and convert it to the new format.

• Preview Mode - goes through your Address Book and shows you all of the numbers that will be changed, and their new numbers. No changes will be made in the Address Book in Preview Mode.

• Convert Mode - goes through your Address Book and converts all of the cell phone numbers in the chosen fields to their new format. You can choose to confirm each change before it is made. Convert mode can only be used if you have registered 05-What?.

The 05-What? application can be used on ALL Palm OS organizers running Palm OS 2.0 or higher. This includes Palm organizers, Tungsten, Zire, Visor, Treo, Sony Clie, Kyocera, and Samsung devices.

The following sequence must be followed in order to install the 05-What? application.

1 Download the 05what zip file. This file is named "05what101h.zip".

2 Save the file to your hard drive and remember the filename and location. If prompted to overwrite files, say "Yes". A zip file is a compressed file which contains several files within it.

3 You'll need WinZip (or a similar program) to extract the files out of the "zip" file.
(If you are using a MacIntosh computer, use StuffIt).

4 Using the Palm Install Tool, install the "05what.prc" file on your computer.

5 Perform a HotSync in order to transfer the file to your organizer.

6 On your organizer, tap the 05-What? icon to run the application.

In order to convert the cell phone numbers in your Address Book, you must register 05-What?. When you register (purchase) 05-What?, you will need to provide your HotSync User Name.

In order to find your User Name, tap the Register button. The User Name will be displayed on the 05-What? Registration screen. You will need to provide the exact User Name (including capitalization, spaces, and punctuation marks).

After your registration is processed, you will receive an email from us within 1 to 2 days, with your registration key. If you have already installed 05-What?, there is no need to delete it or install a new version, you will just need to enter the registration key.

The registration email will contain your 8 digit registration key. Enter the 8 digit registration key, and tap the Register button.
